They conducted a survey that found that if you type a list of things you need to do, you will fall asleep.
The researchers observed the sleep of 57 male and female patients between the ages of 18 and 30.
Half of them had to write a list of things they should complete 5 minutes before going to sleep, and by 22.30, the lights went off and did not have access to technology.
They found that the students who wrote the list fell asleep 9 minutes earlier than those who lay down without writing anything.
They also concluded that students who wrote a very detailed list of responsibilities and tasks they have in the coming period fell asleep 15 minutes faster than those who wrote a generic list.
The reason is simple – when you write off all the duties and tasks you have, your stress and fear for the future are reduced, you will forget something and help reduce the unpleasant feeling that the job will remain unfinished.
Without such a list, the brain is constantly struggling and thinking about it, making it more difficult to sleep.
